Meritous Unit Insignia -
Each member of a unit designated as a Meritous Unit is awarded the Meritous Unit Insignia (White Star).

Honor Unit with Distinction Insignia -
Each member of a unit designated as an Honor with Distinction Unit is awarded the Honor Unit with Distinction Insignia (Yellow Star).
Academic Achievement Insignia -
A gold wreath authorized for wear by cadets in the top ten percent of each JROTC class - based on grades earned in JROTC courses, as determined by the SAI. A felt pad center background indicates subsequent awards.

Awarded one to each LET level in the top 10% of their JROTC class, leadership skills, devotion to the JROTC program, participate in class and extracurricular activities, integrity is above reproach. Basically just an outstanding well rounded cadet.
Awarded with the same standards as above only a LET III. Only one is awarded per 4000 cadets in each ROTC region.
Awarded to a 10th, 11th, or 12th grader who is in good standing militarily and scholastically and/ or show a high degree of diligence in a related activity in JROTC.
Awarded to one cadet with a high degree of military bearing, leadership, reproach is to the highest degree possible, and general military excellence.

Awarded to cadets in the top 25% of their academic class and JROTC subjects. Have military bearing, leadership, discipline, character, and citizenship.
Awarded to a LET III in the top 25% of their JROTC class and potential for greater responsibilities. Participates in extracurricular activities, has military bearing, good character, and a fundamental and patriotic understanding of JROTC training.

Military Order of the Purple Heart Leadership Medal
Awarded to a cadet for all around excellence in the top 20% of their class and 10% JROTC subjects. Must have patriotism, potential, and desire a military career.
Awarded to the cadet in his/her unit who has done the most to encourage and demonstrate Americanism by deed or conduct or both.
Awarded to a cadet who has a desire to continue ROTC and obtain a commission be in the top 10% of their ROTC class, has demonstrated leadership, moral character, and high aptitude for military service.
Awarded to a cadet with a positive attitude, holds a leadership position, and maintains a grade of "B" in all subjects the previous semester.
Marksman -Awarded to any cadet for shooting 150 out of 300
Sharpshooter -Awarded to any cadet for shooting 175 out of 300
Expert -Awarded to any cadet for shooting 200 out of 300
